Does Fathom provide real-time transcription?

It depends on which Fathom experience you're on!

New bot-free experience Yes! The new Fathom desktop experience includes a live summary that updates in real time as your meeting goes on — so you can follow along with key points as they happen, without waiting for the call to end.

Previous experience (bot-based) Real-time transcription isn't available in the previous experience. Summaries and transcripts are generated once your meeting has ended and the recording has been processed. You can view them anytime on your Fathom dashboard.

We know live transcription has been a popular request — and the new experience is our answer to that! If you're on Mac with English-language meetings, you may already be eligible to try it. Find out how to upgrade here.
