Transcription Dictionary

Transcription Dictionary are custom terms added to improve the accuracy of transcriptions by recognizing company-specific words, acronyms, product names, or industry jargon.

Transcript terms are generated and applied for all non-consumer domains, so everyone on your team benefits from improved transcript accuracy.

Only Team Edition Admins can view and manage these terms. This means Team Admins are the only users who can add, edit, or remove the Transcription Dictionary for your company.

You can add or remove terms by navigating to Settings > Organizational Settings > Recording.

Here’s how it looks when you edit it (you may need to scroll down to see all terms):

• No more than 50 terms total

  • If users try to add more than 50 terms, they'll get a TooManyKeywordsError

• Each term must be 100 characters or less

  • If any individual keyword exceeds 100 characters, it'll get a KeywordTooLongError

• Each term must be 6 words or less

  • If any terms contain more than 6 words, it will be rejected during the AI processing phase.
