Retention Policies in Fathom
Setting a Retention Policy allows organizations to automatically delete recordings in Fathom after a configured period of time, helping teams manage data privacy and comply with internal policies.
This feature is only available to customers on the Team Edition Pro (TE Pro) plan.
🕒 What Is a Retention Period?
A retention period is the amount of time recordings are kept before they are automatically deleted from Fathom.
Once a retention rule is active, any recording older than the set period will be permanently deleted.

Can I request a custom retention period?
Yes! If you’d like a time frame that isn’t listed in the UI (e.g., 18 months), reach out to help@fathom.video
. Custom durations are subject to engineering approval.
