Activating Non-English Transcripts
Go to the Settings page
Toggle on Non-English Language Support:
💡 Fathom uses the language spoken during the first minute of the call to determine which language to use to transcribe the entire meeting.
Translating Summaries from English
When calls are detected to be in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, or Dutch, Fathom will:
Automatically translate the Summary into that language
Send that translated version in your post-meeting email
Show the translated Summary by default when you view the call in Fathom
Summaries can also be translated to and from any of those languages. Just head to an individual call and find the language drop-down next to the Summary type drop-down:
Click your preferred language and the Summary will automatically regenerate.
