Retroactive Zapier Triggers

Edited

Retroactive Zapier Triggers let you backfill historical Fathom data into your Zapier workflows. This is a reviewed, case-by-case service run by our team and is not self-serve.

What you can export

  • Standard Zapier events such as New AI Summary, New Transcript, and New Download Video

  • Historical calls within a specified date range

Before you request this

  • Set up your Zapier integration with Fathom and confirm it works on a new call

  • Configure the Zap actions where you want data to go, such as Google Docs or Notion

  • For bulk, programmatic export or if you need ongoing access, use our Public API instead: developers.fathom.ai

How the process works

  1. You set up and test your Zap with current calls.

  2. You provide the date range and which triggers you need (AI summaries, transcripts, or video downloads).

  3. Our team runs a test on a small sample of historical calls.

  4. After you confirm the sample looks good, we run the full backfill.

Important notes and limits

  • This is for historical data only

  • Video download links typically remain valid for about 1 hour

  • Large backfills may be limited by your Zapier plan’s usage caps

  • The Fathom Public API is the fastest path for bulk exports of transcripts, summaries, and recordings. Get started at developers.fathom.ai!
