Asana Integration

Fathom now integrates directly with Asana, a project management platform where teams can manage tasks, projects, company goals, and strategic plans. This integration is available to all users—free and paid!

With this feature, you can seamlessly turn Fathom’s meeting insights and action items into trackable tasks in Asana.

Step 1:

Go to Settings > scroll down to Integrations > click Task Manager > then select Connect.

Step 2:

Choose Asana as your preferred task manager. (We're working on these other options, stay tuned!)

Step 3:

Log in to your Asana account and grant Fathom access.

Step 4:

Configure your sync settings by selecting the project to which you want to send tasks, the sync frequency, and whether it should be automatically or be done manually.

To sync tasks manually, go to your call recording view and click the 'Sync to Asana' button at the top of your listed action items.

Note that this button will only appear if you have action items assigned to you (whether generated automatically or manually).

In the desktop app, you can also configure sync preferences at the start of every call—and even set a different default project for each recurring meeting!

You will also see custom columns in Asana, which will display the Fathom Link (a URL to the moment the task was detected) and the Fathom Meeting Title.

1. Tasks sync only to your own Asana account. (You’ll always be the assignee.)

2. Only calls where you are the recording owner in Fathom will sync.

• Action items assigned to you created in Fathom (in calls you recorded).

• Updates to those action items, including:

  • Marked complete/incomplete

  • Edited action item text

  • Items manually created or deleted
