👋Uninstalling Fathom (Windows)
Edited

If you have decided to uninstall Fathom from your Windows computer, this guide will walk you through the process step-by-step.

Steps to Uninstall Fathom:

  1. You can delete your account via the settings page (https://fathom.video/customize) by clicking on the "Delete Fathom" button at the bottom of the page. It will take ~12 hours to process your request and fully delete your account. All of your account data will be permanently deleted and cannot be undone.

  2. There are two versions of the Fathom app, the Zoom app and the Desktop app. You can uninstall/remove Fathom from inside your Zoom client, from your Zoom Account (https://marketplace.zoom.us/user/installed.)

  3. If you downloaded our Desktop App, you will need to first quit the app. You can do that by opening the system tray on the bottom right of your screen and right-clicking on the Fathom icon and then select "exit".

  4. Then, Select Start, then Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Select the Fathom app and then select Uninstall.

Additional Steps:

If Fathom is still trying to intercept your Zoom calls, please update Zoom to the latest version. Instructions for how to do so are HERE. This will remove the Fathom intercept from your Zoom account. You can also uninstall and reinstall Zoom to remove the Fathom intercept.

For Team Edition Users:

The delete button will not be available on your settings page. You may have to reach out to your Fathom Team Edition Admin to delete your account.
